Lingui The Sacred Bonds
Lingui The Sacred Bonds is a film by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun which was released on MUBI in 2021. The film is set in Chad and is about a complicated relationship between a mother and daughter. We really wanted the artwork to emphasize and highlight the bond between two characters so we decided to place a section of the title between them, as if they are looking at the ‘sacred bond’.

takes place during the height of the Video Nasty controvery. The artwork is inspired by the glithching effect you would get
on a VHS tape and the neon colour palette was in reference to the film being set in the 1980’s.
